With schools being closed with Governor Dewine’s May 1st directive, the no contact period for coaches has been extended to May 1st as well.  Stay safe, Stay at home!  

Last week, some athletes asked if they could work individually using our facilities (track, ball diamonds, etc.). OHSAA just contacted the athletic department informing us that our athletes CANNOT do anything relating to athletics on school grounds.   For more information regarding winter and spring sports, visit www.ohsaa.org  

The Cardington-Lincoln Athletic Boosters are having a March Madness Squares fundraiser. Please see any head coach, athletic booster or the athletic director if you are interested. You may also purchase a square at the high school office.

CARDINGTON LINCOLN – 314 Congratulations on your Girls Basketball team qualifying for the District Semi-finals.   If you team wins and advances to the District Finals,  all pre-sale tickets will be available online. This year all pre-sale tickets for the District Championship games will be conducted online.   Each school advancing to the finals will be provided

Friday night, in the Columbus Convention Center, the Cardington Lady Pirates defeated Worthington Christian in a tightly fought game 44-42. The girls play Wednesday, March 4 at Logan High School in the regional semi-finals. Game time is 6:00 pm.

The girls will play Worthington Christian in the district finals Friday, Feb. 28 at 6:00 pm at the Columbus Convention Center. The boys will play Berne Union in the district semi-finals Saturday, Feb. 29 at 2:00 pm at Olentangy High School.

The Lady Pirates defeated the Lions of Liberty Union last night 45-36. The girls will play Worthington Christian at 6:00 pm at the Columbus Convention Center (Battle Hall).

Cardington boys basketball win sectional championship by defeating Delaware Christian 57 – 45. The district semis will be played Saturday at 1:00 with a neutral site to be named later. Go Pirates!
